If you are reading this, you are probably looking for how much a website costs in 2026 and you have seen a price range that goes from USD 99 (Wix template) to USD 15,000 (agency with office, sales team and project manager). In this article I tell you, with real numbers, what it actually costs and why.
The short answer
As a starting point, these are the prices I handle, agreed in writing before we start:

These prices are not marketing: they are the ones in my fixed-price quotes, the ones I charge real clients. And they are valid for 2026, with the same cost structure I had in 2024 and 2025: I work sólo, no office or team, and I have been writing code for years, so AI helps me go faster where it actually adds value.
Why my prices are 3-5x lower than an agency
When someone tells me “an agency quoted me EUR 3,500 for a site you offer for EUR 600”, I usually explain the same thing:
- The office costs EUR 2,000-5,000 per month, and that gets split across projects.
- The salesperson earns commission, usually 10-15% of the project.
- The project manager takes another 10-20% just to coordinate you.
- The design is done by a junior who has been at the company for 6 months (sometimes).
- The development is done by another junior, often using tweaked templates.
- SEO and performance are sold separately, usually for an extra EUR 500-1,500.
Result: your site is worth EUR 1,000 of real work, but the agency charges you EUR 3,500 to pay for structure. And what you usually get is a WordPress-theme-based site, slow, with SEO as an “optional extra”.
I am not saying agencies are bad. There are large projects that need a team. But for a small business or an entrepreneur that wants a custom website or app without paying 5x more, working with a senior freelancer is usually the best value for money.
What is included (and what is not)
When I send you a quote, this is what is included in every web project by default:
- Custom design, from scratch (never a template)
- Domain: I help you pick the best one at the best price, or set up the one you already have
- Full technical SEO: Schema.org, llms.txt, sitemap, hreflang, Open Graph
- GEO: your site structured so ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini recommend it when someone asks about your industry
- Core Web Vitals 95+ (loads in under 1 second, zero JS by default)
- Perfect responsive: looks great on phone, tablet and desktop
- 15 days of small changes included (text, photos, tweaks)
- Deliverable code: the site is yours, you do not depend on me
What is not included (and we can add as extras):
- Custom CMS so you can edit it yourself (EUR 200-400 extra, recommended if you will change content often)
- App Store / Google Play publishing (for apps, EUR 100-200 per store)
- Monthly maintenance (EUR 25-50/month, no contract, recommended)
- Professional copy and photos (if you do not have them, I can recommend someone I trust)
My payment model, in one sentence
You pay 20% to start and the remaining 80% only when the site is on your domain and you are happy with the result. Before asking for a single cent, I prepare a mockup so you see the direction of the site without paying anything.
When I am not the right fit
For full honesty, there are cases where I am not the right fit:
- If you need a large team to keep a complex platform running 24/7 in production -> you need an agency or an in-house CTO.
- If you want something that already exists as a Wix or Squarespace template for USD 50/month -> that option is fine for you.
- If your project is a B2B SaaS with heavy traffic and you need formal SLAs -> you probably need a team.
In any of those cases I will tell you it is not for me and, if you want, recommend someone I trust. My reputation depends on telling the truth, not on closing projects at all costs.
Frequently asked questions about pricing
Why do you charge EUR 350 and not USD 99 like a Fiverr freelancer?
Because USD 99 is what a tweaked WordPress template costs when someone charges little because they cannot charge more. I code from scratch, in custom code, with full technical SEO and GEO included. The difference shows in speed, ranking, code quality, and in the fact that your site does not break with any update of a 5-year-old theme.
Can I get an invoice?
I invoice as a self-employed professional (DNI 26578790J, Spanish tax ID). If you are a company or self-employed and need an invoice, just send me your billing details and I will include it. For international clients I can issue invoices in EUR or, on a case-by-case basis, in your local currency.
Do you accept payment in another currency?
I work in EUR by default but accept payment in USD, GBP, MXN, ARS, COP and the main LATAM currencies. If you prefer, I can invoice you in your local currency on a case-by-case basis.
Do you offer payment plans?
I do not offer financing (I am not a bank), but the 20% + 80% model is already designed to split the financial effort. If your project is very large, we can talk about dividing it into phases.
